This hybrid couch is mid green in colour, fine textured with a dense low growth pattern. It has good water and colour retention, is drought and salt tolerant and needs 5-6 hours of full sunlight per day. Greenlees Park is quick to establish by sending down strong root systems.  Its high level of thatch inhibits weed infestation.  Currently installed at such venues as the Royal Pines and Palm Meadows Golf Courses.  Due to the high level of thatch a yellow scalped look may appear in this type if it is left too long between mowing.  Greenlees Park therefore requires more frequent mowing to retain its peak appearance.

Natural couch is a low maintenance grass, has a medium/fine texture with medium density and height.  This grass will wear well and withstand hot and dry extremes. The Queensland Education Department presently specifies this grass for their schools.  It is also recommended for gutters, gullies and road edges. A popular commercial and domestic grass.

Description  - CT2 is a low-growing variety with dark green leaves.  It spreads rapidly by fine reddish-coloured stolons and rhizomes.  It is suited to golf course fairways and tees, sports fields, lawns, parks and general landscaping.

Comments : CT2 produces less thatch than any other couch varieties but forms a more open surface.  It is an attractive dark green colour that has a low seed head production.
